Created by the same team that gave you Departure, Blacklist is another opportunity to enjoy the fabulous food and drink at the Elixir Bar in Camden to a soundtrack of alternative music.
If you choose Blacklist as your meet up venue before moving onto Inferno at The Electric Ballroom, ask at the bar for a stamped flyer for discounted entry until 1:30am.
Entry to Blacklist if free all night, leaving you with extra cash to spend at the reasonably priced bar, which hosts a happy hour on quality cocktails until 9pm too ;)
The music policy is more diverse than Departure and leans slightly more in a guitar based direction, with the objective to give you ‘Dark Music from 1977 onwards’. Expect to hear stuff like indie, post-punk, goth and darkwave accompanied by visuals and videos.
Featuring a different group of established DJs every month to keep the playlist varied and helping you get into the mood for the weekend.

After the success of the last one I can't wait for the next one. currently making more visuals for the night and working out if we'll have sweets at this one since the easter eggs went down a treat at the last one (mostly down my throat! ;)
The night starts at 8pm and will go on till 1pm.
DJ's in attendance at this one will be Psyche, Steve Weeks, Vicky Fenbane and K-Nine
Please note to everyone who's asked about guest DJ'ing (This is getting a bit on the absurd side we've had about 100 requests for Guest DJ slots)
We'll be putting our heads together and getting people in from the third Departure night once we've all agreed on who goes first.

Propaganda J-Rock night is on every first Monday of the month, and Has now been running in London for over four years and has now moved from the Devonshire Arms in Camden to the Intrepid fox at Tottenham Court Road. We now have our own floor in the pub with it's own Bar, and nicer staff to top it all off.
Remember it is a pub and we do have a strictly over 18 door policy so if you don't look like your 18 have your ID with you as this will also cause you less problems.
If you like to request a video you can do it on the night or you can e-mail me, and I'll try my best to get the video you want if I don't already have it ;) |

As you well know MUCC will be playing London soon. and Due to them coming back to London Propaganda Jrock will be doing a MUCC special on the 6th of October at the Intrepid Fox in London, from 7pm till 11pm.
Currently there will be some offical give away’s, and a chance to see them at a very secret accoustic set in london. this is still to be confirmed by managment. but it looks like we’ll be doing a preview of the new album as well.

Tonights Propaganda TV has been canceled in short notice by the Intrepid Fox. next weeks will be up and running . this is due to a prior booking, which I was not informed of up untill 20 mins ago :(

Ok, just a quick post to say Propaganda TV is not on tonight due to a prior booking at the Fox.
In fact i'm happy about this as my body is a bit bruised and battered after this weekends activity's.
Friday Birthday drinks at work started at 4ish and went on untill the wee hours, when I decided that my body couldn't take any more alcohol and jumped in a taxi to Vicky's in a very drunken state.
hangover followed during the day, and subsided before we went to Slimes, Vicky's DJ'ing was great and as the evening progressed I consumed far too much alcohol again! ;) and left Vicky partying and took myself to bed :) where Vicky woke me around 9 in the morning for a very lovely morning/day/evening spent in bed.
All in all a great weekend.

| Quiting the Dev, and starting at the Fox! |

Ok some of you will know that i've been DJ'ing at the Devonshire Arms in Camden for about 8 years.
And through the Dev, I made a lot of great friends and i've met alot of great people. The Devonshire Arms will always hold a great big warm fuzzy shape in my heart.
But times change, and after the managment change I felt very bad for staying there and not walking out and supporting Janine and Robin.
I felt it was my duty to still try and keep a part of the Dev the same as it had been musicly with the Propaganda TV and Propaganda J-Rock nights.
But the Dev has changed and seems to changing for the worse.
As a member of staff I am polite and curtious to the members of the public (Punters) and I try and play a broad range of music when I can. but being subjected to Verbal and then pysical abuse by one of the Punks on Monday 2 weeks ago I have now Quit the Devonshire.
I feel I was not supported correctly by the mangement of the Devonshire Arms (A Hobgoblin pub) and the Client involved has not been barred even though he threatned me with a bar stool!
And thus I have not been able to collect my equipment from the Pub/ any monies owed as he now seems to have become a resident of the pub because he thinks he can do no wrong!
P.S I have nothing against Punks, as a thirteen year old boy I had my first mohawk (green) and my first pair of DM's were nicked for me by the local punks from my area. and I've always had a great respect for the music and the art of punk it's self although when i was growing up I leaned away from my punk roots and through the likes of punk/goth cross over bands and finaly into Industrial.
but now onto business.
Propaganda TV and Propaganda J-Rock are not dead!
I start DJ/VJ'ing at The Intrepid Fox on the 7th of July with the First Jrock night of the month. and then contiune every Monday after that with Propaganda TV, as a regular feature in the Private area upstairs.

It's Come to my Attention that the Flyers/website for the up and coming Sedition Blade runners Ball have me down as a Slimelight DJ! I have DJ'ed at Slimelight as a guest DJ but that was many many moons ago.
I'd just like to let it be known that I had nothing to do with this.
I count some of the DJ's at Slimelight as good friends and exceptional DJ's
And I no way would I like to be seen as using Slimelights name wrongly promote myself!
For future reference the only Residences I currently count are Antichrist (next one on April 25th @ Club Colosseum) The Devonshire Arms, Camden And Propaganda which I will be trying to re-launch at some point this year.
This will be posted on various blogs and also on the Propaganda TV website.

This is my first proper post in a while, there's been a few changes in life for me over the last few weeks. Those of you who know me well enough will know my grand mother passed away of cancer on the 23rd and I wish her well on her journey.
On the same night that I possibly had the best night I've had all year.
Antichrist was great and I really had a great night Dj'ing and Vj'ing and dancing like a mad fool on the dance floor and in the dj box!
The J-Rock 3rd birthday went well and I had a great time eating cake and drinking possibly too much beer! Thanks to everyone who showed up! see you all on the 7th of Jan.
mostly I'd like to thank my friends who have stuck by me over this year, Alexis for being a great flat mate and possibly the closest thing to a sister. and I find it a bit sad that she's moving out today! But on a brighter note, Kristof will be moving in tonight so i'm getting prepared for a mammoth drinking session this weekend with lex's birthday and my best mate Mike up in London!
apologise's to everyone for me not making it out on Saturday to Slimes. After DJ'ing at the Dev I went back home to change due to an incident with a kebab! and promptly passed out! it might have been something to do with the large amout of alcohol I drank! but all in all a good night! |

Hi everyone! i'm looking for a flat mate to move into my place and though i'd put it out on myspace among my friends list first!
Alexis is moving out from the Flat on the 10th of December so i'll have a room to let in the Flat it's a 2 bedroom flat on Caledonian Road, 2 min's away from Caledonian Road Tube station, and Sandwiched nicely between Camden (5/8 mins on the number 29 bus from Camden Road), Kings cross (7/8 mins on a bus or one tube stop away) and Islington (274 takes you straight to Slimelight in about 7 mins!)
It's quite a big Flat with a big bathroom, a nice big living room/kitchen which would be shared between the two of us. And good size double bedroom to let.
It's got GCH and the rent is only £500 a month with Ctax working out at £55.00 a month Gas and Electricty are on a key meter so a down to what we'd use really.
the land lady would require a £500 deposit.
As you'd probably guess i'd be looking for someone who's into Alternative culture and holds a steady job. and is clean and tidy.
The flat also has cable TV and a good fast internet service as you'd probably expect from me. Also you'd get to use my equipment that i've got in the house.
including a PS3, XBox, Dreamcast and some other computer equipment,
Ok i'm also a bit of a geek!
on another note you'd probably end up getting guest listed to alot of Clubs/Gigs due to the cirumstance of living with me....
